Yay! Tea and ice cream! This delicate twist on a classic is perfect for the summer.
Ingredients:
- Tea leaves (I recommend a sweet black tea, like Love Tea #7 from DavidsTea)
- Water
- Ice
- Vanilla ice cream
Directions:
- Prepare 1 cup of iced tea (Make the tea according to the instructions, but use twice the recommended amount of tea leaves. After steeping, pour the tea into a glass full of ice, as in FULL of ice. The tea has to be extremely cold, or the ice cream will melt too quickly.)
- In another tall glass, pour amount of the iced tea. Then, add a generous scoop of the ice cream, before pouring in the rest of the tea.
Serve with a straw (preferably brightly coloured!)
